The following connection courses are also required for the BS in mathematics:
One computer language course (Math 2340 is strongly recommended. It meets the computer language requirement but does not count toward mathematics elective credits.)
Calculus-based Physics 2305 or 2306 with a lab.

学生 who are pursuing majors in subject areas other than mathematics may elect to get a minor in mathematics.
数学 小 Requirements:
- 18 semester hours of mathematics courses to include MATH 2312, 2313
- Minimum of 9 hours of upper division courses
